The Chesapeake Print & Book Arts Fair is presented by Glyph Stationers, a registered trade name of StarrSmith LLC. In this policy, “we” and “our” mean StarrSmith LLC. This policy explains what we collect through chesapeakeprintersfair.com and what we do with it.

What we collect

Email signups. When you sign up for Fair updates, we collect your email address, the date and time you consented, and which form or source you came from. Nothing else is required.

Vendor applications. When you apply for a table, we collect the information you enter on the application form, which may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, mailing address, and a description of your work. Table payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your card number.

Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.

Site analytics. Our website platform collects standard visitor statistics such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, and device type. This is aggregate information and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Advertising. We may run ads on Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, to promote the Fair. This can involve a tracking pixel on our site that tells Meta a visitor viewed a page, so we can measure whether ads are working and show ads to people who have visited before. You can control how Meta uses this through your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.

How we use it

We use your email address to send Fair announcements: vendor news, workshop schedules, event details, and reminders. We email a few times a year about the Fair and nothing else.

We use vendor application information to review applications, assign tables, and communicate with vendors about the event.

We use analytics and advertising data to understand how people find the Fair and to promote it.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share or rent our mailing list. We do not send you email about anything other than the Chesapeake Print & Book Arts Fair unless you separately signed up for something else.

Who else handles your information

We use service providers to run the site and send email, including our website platform, our email service provider, our form and payment providers, and Meta for advertising. These companies process information on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not authorize them to use your information for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. We keep vendor application records as long as needed for event administration and normal business recordkeeping.

Your choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, which takes effect immediately.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@glyphdg.com and we will take care of it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
